Fallout 76 Beta Will Be “the Full Game", Progress Will Carry Over

Fallout 76 is one of the most anticipated game releases of the fall, and while plenty of fans will be looking forward to enjoying all the game will have to offer come November, Bethesda has provided a handful of details on the upcoming “Break it Early Test Application,” with a new bit of info confirming that you can expect the beta to feature the full experience, and you won’t be missing a beat when the final game goes live.

“Our current plan for the B.E.T.A.,” Bethesda says, “is it will be the full game and all your progress is saved for launch. We hope you join us!” Beta access will go out to a group of eligable participants starting in October - you'll need to pre-order to get in.

New updates have also appeared on the official FAQ page for Fallout 76 from Bethesda Game Studios, with some earlier info getting confirmed via a community post. If you pre-order Fallout 76 from a selection of participating retailers, you’ll get access to the beta when it launches this fall. The beta will begin first on Xbox One before hitting other platforms - including, of course, PC.

Your beta access will be automatic if you’ve purchased the game digitally, but you’ll receive a code from your chosen retailer if you spring for a physical release. Additionally, all your progress will carry over when the game releases. Fallout 76 will release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 14th, 2018.
